FAQ

How old do I need to be to take a driver education course?

15 years old by the first day of class.

If you are 15 ½ you can take the Knowledge Exam at our school.  Or, you can get your permit at age 15 if you are registered in a driver education course and a $100 deposit has been made to secure your seat in the course.  But no sooner than 10 days prior to your course start date.

This is a randomly created number that is either on your WA State ID card (if you have one).  Or, a number that you can get by signing up for a service at www.dol.wa.gov called License eXpress.  You are doing a preapplication at the department of licensing for your permit/driver license.

You will do 30 hours of classroom time, 6 behind the wheel lessons and one hour observation with our program.  All course materials.

You will pay $25 at the DOL for the instruction permit.  There are no additional costs to our program.  Unless the student does not show up for a driving lesson, or give 24 hour notice to cancel the scheduled drive appointment.

You can change courses prior to the first day of class.  Your deposit will also move as long as you have not gotten your permit.  Otherwise, you will lose your deposit.
